December 19 Day 286: By the Numbers

286: The number of days since the University of Washington system suspended face-to-face classes on all three campuses to address concerns around a novel and rapidly spreading coronavirus.

200: The number of posts I have made to Math in the Time of Corona at this time—essentially one per day for two quarters with a summer hiatus.

22: The number of years I have been married to my husband (today is our wedding anniversary).

3: The number of people isolating in our house–my husband and our 2 sons.

1: The number of people I would want as my partner through this wild and crazy pandemic experience (or any time for that matter). I love you Mark. Happy Anniversary.
