October 24 Part 2 Day 960. Having a Party with my New Best Friends

Can you believe we are delayed again?

Captain Patrick was excited to see us boarding the plane. He gave his welcome in person rather than over the speaker system. We are the same passengers from last night’s fated flight. We reminisced over breakfast. We squeezed into the shuttle from the hotel. We have been together for hours and hours. And for the most part, we still have positive attitudes.

As we were about to pull out from the gate, I heard the request to disarm the doors. That means we are not going anywhere…yet. It’s a different issue than last night.

So the Captain invited us to come up and take pictures in the cockpit. And we did.

Now we are answering trivia and scavenger questions. I won a chocolate bar for having a “Q” in my name. They recognized the longest married couple, youngest passenger, and the owner of a purple pen.

You will notice I am not wearing a mask. It started as an overtired oversight. Now its too late. I’m just going with the flow.
