April 27 Day 415: A Mountain Morning

It was a glorious morning promenading across the Wilson Way bridge to Dune Pennisula Park. Mount Ranier shone in all its glory. It makes me grateful for this place we live and the people I get to share it with.

I’ve notice on my walks that fewer people are masked. Admittedly, I carry a mask and will put it on if I come too close to others outside but it’s allergy season and a stuffy nose makes it harder to breath through the fabric. So I would prefer not to wear it outside when safe. I just checked the statistics for Pierce County—32% of its population has received a first dose and 23% are fully vaccinated. At what percentage we will be considered safe?

It was a tails up kind of morn (at least that’s what the harbor seals seemed to be doing.)
