February 21 Day 350: Where Did the Day Go?

It’s nearly midnight and I have yet to think about today’s post.

I worked some. I graded some. I prepared for several of tomorrow’s meetings.

I spoke with my Mother (who is super excited that herons are nest-building in the tree tops near her house) and with my son returned to college earlier this month (who played D&D in person with his bubble of dorm friends). My HS senior finally got a photoshoot for senior portraits. He doesn’t really like having his picture taken but the yearbook deadline is fast approaching. It was windy and threatened rain and he couldn’t wriggle out of it any longer.

We saw early cherry blossoms, forsythia, pink azaleas and rhododendrons, and jonquils. So all in all, it was a lovely and productive day. I just wish there were a few more hours…
