October 26 Day 232: Long Day

Even though the days are getting shorter, you know its been a long one when…

  • …you realize that you have been sitting in your desk chair more than 10 hours with only three trips downstairs all day.
  • …the reports due this Friday are in pretty good shape but you don’t want to spend the last 30 minutes proofreading and polishing to get them done now.
  • …10:44 pm marks your first and only check-in with your favorite social media or blog platform.

There was nothing wrong with today. It was just too much and I am not good at turning things off.

I am looking forward to tomorrow though. It’s the start of interviews for the second group oral assessment. And we have a mathematics lunch planned! I so miss interacting with my colleagues on a regular basis. And if I can make the space, I will get more grading done.
