February 14 Day 343: Triply Lucky

If 7 is a lucky number, then today, the 343rd day since beginning remote teaching, should be especially lucky. After all 343=7x7x7.

And then it is February 14, a day to appreciate those you love most— especially your life’s partner if you are lucky enough to have one. Mark and I have been together for 25 years (and married for more than 22 of them.) We are devoted to each other and value the home and family we have built together. We both have tendencies towards over-working and need more time relaxing or adventuring together.

He is the true romantic and makes me feel special every day.

With COVID isolation and the recent snowfall, our Valentines celebration was a simple home cooked meal. I did not want anything else and felt so lucky to share it with him.
