November 16 Day 253: Tacoma You’re Beautiful

Tacoma is in the 253 area code so how could I not celebrate this wonderous, gritty city on the 253rd day since starting remote emergency teaching last March. We have the Puget Sound, the Mountain, Point Defiance, the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Tacoma is a city filled with generous artists, makers, and don’t forget #TacomaMath folks. Plus you can get a really good cup of coffee from my favorite independent coffee houses.

Enjoy the view. For we are prepared to hunker down and isolate like it was Day 0 again.

(All photos taken on my iPhone out and about in Tacoma, mostly this year. Although the Ms. Monkey photo is a few years old, I had to include it because she is my favorite guerilla artist in town.)
