November 9 Day 246: Empty

I got nothin. There are 13 more assessments to grade and I promised myself that I would get them completed today. But my eyes will not stay open.

I have been staying up late almost every night to work, grade, or write. As someone who loves her sleep, it is unheard of for me to stay up past 10 o’clock—let alone being awake close to midnight. I think the pace is catching up with me.

The good news is that I teach a Monday-Wednesday schedule. Celebrating Veteran’s Day this week means my classes for the week are already done. There is always homework, projects, and planning to do. I am hoping my students and I can take some time to breathe, find better balance, and recharge.
