November 1 Day 238: Daylight Savings

There is something wonderful about the “free” hour on the morning we changed from Daylight Savings Time. I woke up refreshed and focused at 7 am PST. I snuggled under the covers with my iPad and caught up on all my grading! Just for today, I have a time-turner that allows me to revisit one hour of the day for maximum productivity. Magical.

By 10 am PST, a huge burden had been lifted from my shoulders. I proceeded through the rest of the day guilt-free. The things I achieved thereafter were like earning extra credit points.

Of course, I will change my mind when night comes crashing down an hour earlier this evening. Sunset at 4:52 pm and getting earlier every day. Tomorrow I will be teaching in the dark before class is finished. Maybe this is not such a good idea after all.
