September 13 Day 189: Quality Matters

I apologize to those who were hoping for a thoughtful post about designing an online course using QM’s framework. I’m stuck on air quality—and yes, it matters. Mostly I wanted to create the sliding image comparison below:

Jack Hyde Park: Thursday, September 10 at 6:43 am on the left and Sunday, September 13 at 7:44 am on the right. Slide between for a side-by-side comparison. Best viewed on computer or tablet screen.

Today’s Air Quality Index (AQI) has been hovering around 200. It was approximately 190 when the image on the right was taken (it is now 208). I wasn’t paying attention to AQI four days early, when the image on the left was taken. Then I knew the western fires where affecting air quality and creating unusually colorful sunrises. What a difference a few days can make.
