June 7 Day 91: What Day Is it?

I woke up thinking it was Monday…and panicked. My husband assured me it was only Sunday. There was still time to get all those tasks done before the start of a new week. It’s late and I’m still working at it.

Monday marks the beginning of final exams. We are trying an oral final in my matrix algebra class and an optional final in the mastery-based learning precalculus class.

The continuing students are all wondering about logistics for next Fall. They are hoping to gather in person but realistically we know it will be remote unless absolutely necessary. Perhaps we should make these part of the required equipment?

Or this (though I’m not sure how you get a writing surface in there with you. )

Or the wearable versions: https://utwpods.com/collections/wearable-pods. I’d do it to spend time with my students in person. Would you?
